hello, this is my opinion on born this way and some of the issues that go along with it. i will say nothing more about it. unfollow if you feel it’s necessary.

i just want to say that ‘born this way’ really is the anthem for us little monsters. i love it. it’s freeing and liberating and i don’t know it just makes me so happy. and really, that’s all that matters to me. it makes me sad when people actually start to fight over such a wonderful thing. i mean, come on. this song is for us. and the whole thing about loving and respecting each other, lol what happened to that idea? to dwell on the negative just stresses me out and it’s not worth it. this is fucking ridiculous. i’m not into weed, but damn some people might need to find some.

i can see why people might be annoyed because it does sound a little like ‘express yourself’. i understand how that can piss people off. like when hilary duff came out with ‘reach out’, and everyone thought how new and original it was when it was pretty much depeche mode’s ‘personal jesus’. i still might be bitter about this, but i definitely do not loathe her for it.

the thing is, gaga to me, and i’m not saying stealing is right and i’m not trying to blindly defend gaga here, but didn’t gaga say in vogue somewhere that this was somewhat in the style of madonna, elton, etc? then again, this song is very original too. and wow, let’s not kid ourselves here, is this really the first time someone might have sampled another song? no. i don’t want to call out xtina but hey glam/vogue? :/ but if there is a real problem with the song, the artists and their attorneys can settle it. they’re adults, they can fight their own battles.
